Duties and Responsibilities: The Commercial Service Engineer ensures the correct and smooth execution of projects and service contracts entered into with customers. The employee can guarantee this through excellent technical knowledge, a customer-oriented attitude and respect for quality and safety procedures. He/She largely determines the image of Arabel within the marinas! At the same time, through regular customer interaction, he/she can discover new commercial opportunities and pass them on to the Arabel sales department. He/She is willing to travel regularly (within Europe) to perform the work.

About the job

Summary

Autonomously execute the assigned projects according to the prescribed quality standards, within the foreseen timing
Analyzing assignments with necessary preparations.
Requests, follow-up of materials (stock/orders) and administrative follow-up.
Identification of safety and standardization situations and taking the necessary measures.
Ensures good relations with customers in terms of follow-up, maintenance, interventions, etc.
Formulates and executes objectives, after consultation with the department head, in accordance with the client’s quality manual or guidelines.
Reports on the affairs of the department to his person in charge.

What are we looking for?

Profile

Several years of work experience in a technical / service department or willing to go further in this (subject to support of necessary training)
Bachelor of Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience;
Thinks commercially and is customer oriented: actively seeks methods/methods to improve services, seeks to create a trusting and long-term relationship with customers
Can make quick and accurate decisions when circumstances dictate and takes action to find a solution, does not shy away from new situations.
Can work autonomously as well as in a team and is willing to travel regularly to marinas e.g. Oostende, Zeebrugge, Breskens, Antwerp, eventually also within Europe
Dutch and French fluently spoken and written (one of both as mother tongue), understand English.
In possession of a driving license Cat. B
European nationality, living in Belgium or the Netherlands, ideally in region East/West Flanders
