Sustainability is at the core of arabel‘s values and operations, guiding our efforts to minimize our environmental footprint and promoting responsible resource management. We do this by using a 3 step approach: re-use, reduce and make it sustainable.

• Re-use: at arabel all scrap metals generated during our production processes are fully recycled without any limits. We achieve this through our partnership with an ISO9001-ISO14000 certified recycling partner. By recycling our scrap materials, we not only minimize waste but also reduce the need for new raw materials, conserving natural resources and promoting a circular economy

• Reduce: at arabel, we understand the significant impact of road transportation on CO2 emissions and climate change. That’s why we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint throughout the transportation process. Our shipments are managed by transportation companies that prioritize sustainability. They ensure full shipping loads, avoiding partial shipments or partially charged trucks that emit more CO2 emissions per ton transported. These transportation partners are dedicated to taking all necessary steps to minimize their CO2 emissions, helping us move towards a more sustainable future.

• Make it sustainable: at arabel we want to be sustainable by design. The design principles and scientific concepts applied in our product portfolio, particularly our toroidal transformers, support a sustainable supply chain. Toroidal transformers offer a higher ratio of power output to material content compared to classic transformers. Furthermore, their characteristically low ‘no-load’ losses contribute to energy efficiency. By producing and promoting toroidal transformers, arabel is not only providing high-quality products but also reducing energy transportation losses over the grid, furthering our commitment to sustainability.
