Brouwershaven marina: bringing harbor management to the next level.

Empowering the harbor manager to oversee all operations from the harbor office

Nestled in the picturesque Dutch province of Zeeland, Brouwershaven stands as a testament to its deep-rooted connection with the sea. Renowned for its bounty of Zeeland’s treasures—mussels and oysters—it holds a charming allure, where every 1 in 15,000 wild oysters may reveal a hidden pearl.

As the oldest and most enchanting town along the Grevelingen, Brouwershaven wears its maritime heritage proudly. Its bustling marina, with 385 berths and a 160-meter passing berth, pulsates with activity, underscoring the vital importance of seamless harbor management.

With strong ties to the Watersports Association Brouwershaven, the marina serves as a key hub for water sports enthusiasts. Managed by the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, the Brouwershaven marina sought to modernize its operations to meet the demands of its busy harbor.

To address this need, the marina implemented the i-Marina harbor management solution, valued for its user-friendly interface and customizable features.

In addition to implementing the harbor management system, Brouwershaven has enhanced its infrastructure with arabel‘s electricity pedestals, flush deck water taps (H2O), and anti-legionella systems across both harbors and for all berths.

This comprehensive system empowers the harbor manager to oversee all operations from the harbor office, eliminating the need for physical visits to every incoming or outgoing visitor.

Now, tasks can be efficiently managed remotely, enabling the marina to promptly allocate free spots to visitors who inquire or book berths via the website.

Brouwershaven benefits from a fully integrated and centrally managed solution, incorporating both software and hardware elements, complete with remote switching, metering, and the convenience of QR-code-based service sales.

This real-time monitoring capability provides invaluable insights into marina activities, significantly reducing workload while enhancing the marina’s appeal to both new and returning visitors.

This advancement represents a valuable addition to our company’s portfolio, ensuring happier and more productive marinas across the board.
